A doctor-administered pigmentation-focused skin booster used for uneven tone, dullness and pigmentation-prone skin, commonly combined with MIIN Nd:YAG laser when clinically appropriate.
Type
Doctor-administered injectable pigmentation / skin-quality treatment
Main Focus
Pigmentation, uneven tone, dullness and hydration
Duration
30–45 minutes
Course
Around 3–4 sessions, approximately 2–4 weeks apart, then individualised maintenance

What It Is
DermalSign E+ is a pigmentation-focused injectable skin treatment. Its formulation is built around four key complexes highlighted by the manufacturer: tranexamic acid, glutathione, AA2G stabilised vitamin C and double-capsule or semi-cross-linked hyaluronic acid.
Main Use
It is mainly used for uneven pigmentation, dull or patchy skin tone, post-inflammatory pigmentation and selected melasma-prone skin. It is not intended to replace diagnosis of suspicious pigmented lesions, structural lifting treatments or scar-specific procedures.
Main Benefits
The main goals are a more even-looking complexion, improved brightness and radiance, and better hydration. In pigmentation programmes, the aim is to improve overall tone while supporting skin quality rather than simply trying to make the skin look lighter.
How It Works
Tranexamic acid is the main pigmentation-directed component and has clinical evidence in melasma management. Glutathione and stabilised vitamin C provide antioxidant and brightening support, while hyaluronic acid supports hydration and moisture retention. The formulation is used as a skin-quality layer rather than as a filler.
Who It Suits
It can suit adults with pigmentation, uneven tone, dullness or post-inflammatory marks who want a doctor-led injectable option without changing facial shape. There is no fixed best age. Skin diagnosis and pigmentation pattern matter more than chronological age.
Treatment Duration
Allow approximately 30 to 45 minutes for the appointment. This may include cleansing, skin preparation, comfort measures where appropriate and the treatment itself.
Sessions Needed
A common starting plan is around 3 to 4 sessions, usually spaced approximately 2 to 4 weeks apart. The exact number depends on the type and severity of pigmentation, treatment response, skincare and whether DermalSign E+ is being combined with laser treatment.
Results Timeline
Hydration and brightness may be noticed earlier, while pigmentation changes usually develop more gradually across the treatment course. Melasma and recurrent pigmentation should be assessed over time rather than judged after one session alone.
Results Longevity
Results are not permanent and vary between patients. Pigmentation is influenced by sun exposure, visible light, inflammation, hormones, skincare and lifestyle. Maintenance is individualised according to the diagnosis, response and wider treatment plan.
Downtime
Downtime is usually relatively low. Temporary small injection bumps, redness, mild swelling, tenderness, pinpoint marks or bruising can occur. These usually settle over hours to several days, although individual recovery varies.
Side Effects
Common effects are injection-related redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising and small temporary bumps. Less common complications can include infection, prolonged inflammation, nodules, pigmentation change or allergic reactions. Suitability and medical risks are reviewed by your doctor before treatment.
Alone Or Combined
DermalSign E+ can be used alone for selected pigmentation and skin-quality concerns. At Dr.D Signature Clinic, it is commonly combined with MIIN Nd:YAG laser when a more targeted pigmentation plan is appropriate. Combination treatments should address different parts of the problem rather than simply add more procedures.
DermalSign E+ is our pigmentation-focused skin booster, used to improve uneven tone and skin quality, and commonly paired with MIIN Nd:YAG laser when pigmentation needs a more targeted combination approach.
Purposeful Combinations
MIIN Nd:YAG Laser
Our key DermalSign E+ combination for selected pigmentation. The Nd:YAG laser targets pigment while DermalSign E+ provides a separate injectable layer focused on pigmentation support, brightness and hydration.
AdvaTx Yellow Laser
For patients whose pigmentation also has redness, vascular or inflammatory features. Treatment selection depends on the clinical pattern.
Medical Skincare + Photoprotection
Essential for long-term pigment control. Daily UV protection, visible-light protection where relevant and appropriate pigmentation skincare help maintain treatment results.
Sylfirm X RF Microneedling
For selected patients when pigmentation coexists with dermal texture, pores or a more complex melasma pattern and the doctor wants to address a different skin layer.
